We would like to thank everyone that came out for St. John’s Jewelers 40th Anniversary Celebration in Ellicott City. We could not have asked for a better turnout – we had all three generations of the family business in the store at once, including Irwin Farber who just turned 90, lots of friends and family, and even our next door neighbors, The Flower Basket, who were also celebrating their 40th Anniversary.
We were especially happy to have Mr. Farber in the store for the celebration. Mr. Farber started St. John’s Jewelers with his wife in 1973 after leaving his position as a watchmaker in Old Ellicott City. In honor of Mr. Farber’s watchmaking skills, we made a special display of his old tools and pocket watches. It was definitely a hit among our guests, many who have been customers of St. John’s Jewelers since its opening.
We are also thankful for the many Congratulations cards and flowers that were sent to us from our customers. We are able to celebrate 40 years because of our customers and we are thankful for each and every one of them. It is especially nice to grow with our customers over the years from engagements, to weddings, to baptisms and beyond. Thank you for all for your support.
In addition to our 40th celebration event that was held on October 5, we are also in the middle of our 40th Anniversary Sale. We have up to 50% off of the whole store until October 12! It is never to early to start shopping for the holidays!
Once again, we would like to thank the community, our customers, and our families for helping us reach 40 years in Ellicott City. And, here’s to 40 more! Cheers!!!
