At St. John’s Jewelers we feel very strongly about supporting our community. We support our local schools both public and private all way from elementary to high school. We have grown as a business with local families and it is our pleasure to participate in these fundraisers that are important to our customers and our community.
Most recently the owner of St. John’s Jewelers, Linda Miller, participated in the Zaching Against Cancer golf tournament with one of our long time customers, Robyn Humphrey, and her family. We have met the Lederers several times and we thought it was important to participate in this fundraiser that helps the Zaching Against Cancer nonprofit to help other families. Zach Lederer was a favorite in our community and we were happy to take part in this event that honors his memory. We would like to thank the Lederer family and friends for making it a special day to remember.
We are also happy to support 2 Miles for 2 Hearts. The race benefits the Elizabeth Nass Memorial Scholarship and the Rose Mayr Nursing Scholarship though the Howard Hospital Foundation. Mark your calendars for the 2 Miles for 2 Hearts annual run August 16, 2014, in Ellicott City. The St John’s Jewelers team will be there again this year!
We have also supported The Howard County Conservancy, Gilchrist Hospice Center, St. Jude Hope in the Harbor Gala, Casey Cares, The Little Things for Cancer, Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue, Charm City Animal Rescue, Girls on the Run Central Maryland, and many more.
At St. John’s Jewelers we are proud to give back to the community in meaningful ways. While we are not able to support all organizations, we will respectfully consider all requests that are received 6 weeks prior to the date needed and include the following information:

- The date & time of your event
- A description of how our donation will be recognized (e.g. in event journal, program, and/or social media – Facebook and Twitter)
- Your contact information – phone, address, email
We welcome you to submit your request as outlined above to info@stjohnsjewelers.com (or in person/mail). Please note that we give priority to local non-profits in our area.
